Baby was reimagined through the lens of under-represented and marginalized perspectives. This Tony-nominated musical following three couples on a university campus dealing with the painful, rewarding, and unexpectedly funny consequences of pregnancy and parenthood features a book by Sybille Pearson, music by David Shire, and lyrics by Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr.
David came on board to manage the show for Out of the Box Theatrics, overseeing all aspects of General Management, including contract negotiations, execution of all agreements, correspondence with agents and vendors, payroll, COVID safety protocols, company policies & procedures, helping execute the producer’s vision for opening night events, front-of-house activities, ticketing, and revenue.
The Off-Broadway production of Baby played at Theatrelab from November 5 - December 12, 2021.
Directed and Choreographed by Ethan Paulini, with production design by Rien Schlecht, lighting design by Scout Hough, sound design by W. Alan Waters and musical direction by Geoffrey Ko. Produced by Out of the Box Theatrics, Jennifer Campos Productions, and Play-Per-View Theatrical.
